Controlling your pets
Pet UI Panel
- Attack - Orders your pets to attack the currently selected target.
- Return - Orders your pets to return to your side.
- Buff - Orders your pets to use their buffing skills, if they have any available.
- Heal - Orders your pets to use their healing skills, if they have any available.
Clicking the arrows next to a pet's name will change the pet's attack pattern. The options for pet mode are:
Aggressive: Pet attacks any monster it sees. Default mode for turrets and loot-generated pets such as the Sangog Brothers
Opportunistic: Pet will attack any monster that it sees, preferring weaker targets over stronger ones
Courageous: Pet will attack any monster that it sees, preferring stronger targets over weaker ones
Protective: Pet will only respond to foes that threaten its master
Cooperative: Pet will attack targets that its master attacks, but will also freely defend itself
Assisting: Pet will attack targets that its master attacks, and will respond to foes that threaten its master
Defensive: Pet will defend against threats to itself or its master
Supportive: Pet will only attack targets that its master attacks first. Default mode for most class-based pets such as the lasher, sand fiend, and shreth
Idle: Pet will not get involved in any combat. Default mode for the Tumerok Invoker's Spirit Pets. Can be over-ridden by the attack command.
Chat commands
Typing "/pet" into the chat window will give you the following list of parameters that can be used with it:
- attack - Orders your pets to attack the currently selected target.
- buff - Orders your pets to use their buffing skills, if they have any available.
- heal - Orders your pets to use their healing skills, if they have any available.
- name <text> - Renames your pet to the text specified
- return - Orders your pets to return to your side.
- die - Kills the currently selected pet.
- alldie - Kills all current pets.
- mode <text> - Changes the selected pet's attack mode to the one specified. See the table in the Pet UI Panel section.
Classes
Ranger
Nature's Aid - Summons a Lasher.
Crushing Jaws - Creats a trap that decreases the run speed of anyone who comes into contact with it.
Fiery Jaws - Creates a trap that sets on fire anyone who comes into contact with it.
Enchanter
The Enchanter may summon one of three pets at pre-hero level:
Taunt Orb - Inflicts no damage with its attacks but taunts the enemy.
Dagger Orb - Inflicts a fast flurry of low damage attacks on the enemy.
Axe Orb - Inflicts strong multi-hit attacks on the enemy.
At level 60 they gain access to a hero skill to summon a living suit of armor and at level 70 a hero skill to summon a living sword:
Suit of Armor - Uses taunt attacks to aggro the enemy.
Enchanted Arms - Uses frost attacks to slow the enemy.
Feral Intendant
The Feral Intendant may summon one of two pets to fight by its side.
Summon Shreth - A tank-orientated Shreth.
Summon Beetle - A damage-orientated Beetle.
Hive Keeper
Agitate Nest - Summons one wasp to attack the target. (Level 15)
Wax Statue - Summons a wax statue of a Tumerok that uses area of effect taunts to attack monsters. (Level 35)
Impregnate - Summons a wasp that impregnates the target. Shortly afterwards, a wasp will burst forth and attack him or her. (Level 40)
Vampiric Swarm - Summons a pet swarm. The swarm will do greater damage if the target has protect the queen on. Ocassionaly the swarm will perform a vampric drain and return that as health to itself. (Level 40)
Invoker
The Invoker may summon two Erobal pets to fight alongside it and one Spirit buff pet.
The Vindicator - An Erobal which uses missile attacks.
The Avenger - An Erobal which uses melee attacks.
The Reckoner - An Erobal which uses fiery area of effect attacks.
Spirit of Tanae - Casts an accuracy-improving effect on the Invoker and their fellows.
Spirit of Audetaunga - Casts an armor-improving effect on the Invoker and their fellows.
Spirit of Volkama - Casts a spell that increases the combat speed of the Invoker and their fellows.
Tactician
The Tactician class has two pet turrets it can summon; and can have up to 2 at a time of any combination (2 small, a small and a large, or 2 large). The Tactician can also summon a number of barriers, which can be loosely defined as pets even though they can't be controlled.
Small Turret - A small turret that spawns in front of the user and is immobile.
Large Turret - A large turret that spawns in front of the user and is immobile.
Barrier (Pet) - Loosely defined as a pet. Can't be controlled, does not appear on the Pet UI.
Slough Field (Pet) - Loosely defined as a pet. Can't be controlled, does not appear on the Pet UI.
Wall Of Ice (Pet) - Loosely defined as a pet. Can't be controlled, does not appear on the Pet UI.
Raider
The raider has no pets in its normal skill tree but once they are they are able to train a level 45 hero skill that summons a living rock to fight by its side. The pet only summons on a successful hit of the skill and lasts for 20 minutes or until it dies.
Living Rock - A damage-orientated pet with 0 Armor Value.
Elementalist
Thunder Storm - Uses lightning attacks.
Volcanic Rift - Uses fire attacks.
Hurricane - Uses slowing attacks.
Incendiary Cloud - Uses fire attacks.
