So this is my suggestion for an Osteth to Omishan Guide. IT's NOT THE BEST FASTEST RUSHING leveling guide possible. That wasn't my spirit. This was done to level FAST but seeing content. I try to avoid XP farming as much as possible and to give priority to questing above killing mobs. Also this is more SOLO and SMALL GROUP focused, with some needs of a Fellow and even sometimes FULL FELLOW. Sugestions are welcome. Drudges path is quite different so I don't recommend this Guide.

GLOBAL ACTIONS

1. Get Vaults as soon as possible.

2. There are Special Quests Called "Incursions" that all start by killing a MOB that has light and have a KEY above the head. They all send you to kill 5 or 10 Mobs of some kind. The first incursions also can start by drinking a special potion that drops from mobs. Do every solo incursion you cross in your way. This is really important because a lot of the progression send you killing the same mobs of some quests.

3. Lifestone at Arwic Near Portals until you are lv 10/11 always. After this you should Lifestone at Rithwick until you are near 19. At that point you can lifestone at Cavendo ou goto Omishan and Lifestone at Ikeras. If you want you can Lifestone near the zones you are doing the quests, but after remember to go back to these.

4. Use Quests Guides. Don't do ALL those because some are just a time consuming and bad reward. I'll try to post here the ones you must do.

5. Use Portals MAPs available on Locations.

6. Learn to Butcher! You need to start as soon as possible butchering the mobs you kill. You will need it for Some quests but you need to stock up your mats to do your craft or to give a crafter that does it for you. This is important and you should check Crafting.

QUESTS TO DO (at each level and as soon as possible)

Lv 1 to 3

You do the starting turorial Rescue the Shelter Hold and should be lv 2 or 3 when you leave. After you exit the first starting vault you get a warder near the rings. They tell you to do the OBELISK SEARCH for you race starter. Not only you should do this but also the other 2 available. These 3 quests teach you to travel in rings.

Lv 4 to 5

You now are in the chain quest called the "drudge insurgence saga". These quests are chained but you can skip any part and get the next link, if you know where to go. If you don't, you have to keep in the chain because when you end 1 quest you always get the next one.

IF Possible try to do these incursions (or kill mobs wherever you like):


Lv 6 to 9

Time to do the Vaults!

If you do these and kill some mobs you should be at lv 9 when this ends. If not do this also:


Lv 9

Now the chain gets tricky. Its the first time you need to get a Fellow to continue. Warders send you to do Cragstone Excavation and its hard to solo and you need at least 4 to 5 people of lv9. So my advice is to SKIP IT and Move to the next part of the chain.
But before you move there is something very important you need: Mounts. You can do it now or a bit later, but don't wait above lv 12 to do it. The mobs are hard but you always get people helping or ask for a group. The ones you should get at this point are LOST WISH MOUNTS.

  • 110 XP - Lost Wish Curse of Undead - the first mounts quest. They are all the same: Kill one of 3 possible special MOBS to get the quest (the player need to get the kill). Then you kill the MOBS the quest asks you to (now every kill in the fellow makes all in range advance). When you end you craft a HIDE. You then use that HIDE to end the quest and get the mounts recipe. Kill 3 kind of mobs: 5x mounted skeletons (drops diseased saddle), 10x Empowered Drudge Outcast (drop undead venom) and 10x Undead Carrion Shreath (drop infectious slime). You use the venom+slime to craft Antidote for the curse. In the end use the antidote+diseased sadle+hide to get the saddle patern.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you get the curse you just craft an antidote and use it on yourself to remove it. My advice is to wait for near the end of the curse to do it, since you can't get cursed if you already are. Just make sure you don't let the curse end or you will DIE when the timer runs out. So stock all the pots you can to be prepared.

Lv 10

  • 300 XP - The Warder Scout's Notebook - Goto Rithwic, lifestone near portals and back in the chain!
  • 2.500 XP - Drudge Potion Raid - better in group if you are lv10. This quests introduces you to the Cache Keys of the continent (Order Keys) and its also the Special Cache Dungeon of the continent (ASHERON'S SIGIL KEY).


Lv 11

  • 1.000 XP - Three Doctrines - A mount ride to learn all about the 3 kingdom faction doctrines.

NOTE: For me you should skip Mist Opal and Isle of Tears Quest also. But if you want or need you can do those.

Lv 12

  • 3.200 XP - Mad Crone Vault Glyphs from Drudges near vault or Warder Scout quest.
  • 4.500 XP - Cobalt Vault Glyphs from Cobalt Drudges arround the vault.

Lv 13

with all done this level should get by very fast.


Lv 14

  • 13.000 XP - The Slavetaker's Head - Need a group and Mounts. The walk is long and hard. Everyone doing the quests need to get the kill and loot the head OF THE MOB YOU KILLED. If you loot any other player head it won't end the quest and you need to go back again. If you think you can die use lifestone in the way.

With all well done you should end at lv 15 after this. If not you can kill some mobs and level because you should be very near!


Lv 15

  • 4.000 XP - Rashan's Revenge - I strongly recommend you to get this BEFORE you do the next ones, so you can advance this in the way. This is a no timer quest so you can get it and end when you want. Its awesome XP for this level (but hard) and requires you to kill each of the drudges yourself, or not advance. Murks are the harder ones and you should require some help. The good news is when you do next quest you probably have a chance to advance a lot on this.
  • 2.000 XP -The Illuminated Manuscript - This is a Lv 11 quest but need a group and Mounts. The walk is long and hard. The reward is good XP and 1 ASHERON'S SIGIL (needed for soulbound weapon).
  • 6.000 XP - Burun Despoilment - This is only available when you END Rashan's but its again a mount walk quest. You get the quests, go touch 3 shrines, comeback and its done. Each Shrine you touch puts a curse on you so be careful and start with the shrine furthest away and come back to rashan's to get XP and he lifts all curses. Just DON'T DIE or you will keep the curses.
  • 7.500 XP - Osteth Soulbound Weapons - This requires an Asheron's Sigil KEY (you should have one from 15.2 - iluminated quest above) and you need first to have an emblem for the Weapon of your choise (this is a random drop, so if you don't have yours just try to trade for it or buy it at consignment shop). When you have both you just need to go to Warder Hideout (see 10.2 starter) and run to the end to open the Asheron's Cache and take the activation crystal. Then with those 2 you can go to Shoushi ring (Prosper) and in there start and end the quest with 1 walk. The reward is a good XP and the best weapon from this continent.


Lv 16 to 18

If you do all above you are at lv 19!. If not do some killings or incursions until you get to 19.


Lv 19

  • 3.200 XP - Drudge Citadel Vault Glyphs from Mystic or Gloom Drudges near vault or Drudge Potion quest.

This is the last thing you NEED to do from Osteth, for now.
From here Forward I recommend to go to Omishan and you have my next Guide for that continent.

IF you want to do all vaults before leaving the island go check the Quests Lists, do Armor of the Ancient Knights at lv 20 and when you are Lv21 and can do the last Vault: Prosper Vault.
But the first one from Omishan is Lv 19 Kydi Vault and you get much better XP hunting there.
At Lv 20 if you are still in here go do The Gauntlet.
