Preparation

This is not intended as a solo quest for a level 20. It's recommended to have a small group at least to mine the rubies and probably for touching the tombs, as well, since you'll be facing swarms of undead. Before starting this quest series, you'll need a total of 13 Ferrous Pyreals, one Shadow Totem, and several Aconite.

Walkthrough

To make your complete suit of Ancient Armor, you'll need to complete three main steps in any order: Tombs of Artefon, Ruby Mining, and Shoyanen's Solutions. Please see those quest guides for a more detailed walkthough, but they will be summarized here.

Tombs of Artefon

• Speak to Tima Drokh near Molwirth at 14.3N 3.3E
• Touch the six tombs on the west side of Lake Artefon as shown on the map below
• Return to Tima to receive quest recipes to make the armor
  
  

Ruby Mining

• Head to the Ruby Mines of Ulkas near Molwirth at 16.6N 4.6W
• Hand one Ferrous Pyreal to Ilia Grayton
• Enter portal, defeat the guards, and mine 8 Rubies
• Alternatively, kill rare spawn undead in west Lake Artefon for ruby drops
  
  

Shoyanen's Solutions

• Go to Mayoi, travel east to 5.7S 49.2E, speak with Orlen Jarlns
• Hand Orlen a Shadow Totem and get a Glass Alembic
• Fill the alembic at the Atolu Geyser at 22.5N 48.3E in the NW Ariaki River Basin
• Use your Aconite and the Waters of Atolu to create 9 Decoction of Aconite potions
• Return to Orlen and hand in one Decoction of Aconite
• Use the remaining 8 potions to create your 8 Imbued Rubies
  
  

Now, you should have 8 Imbued Rubies and 12 Ferrous Pyreals, everything you need to create your armor! The recipes for each piece are as follows:

Boots of the Ancient Knights
Breastplate of the Ancient Knights
Gloves of the Ancient Knights
Greaves of the Ancient Knights
Helm of the Ancient Knights
TOTAL	12 Ferrous Pyreal	8 Imbued Rubies

Each time you craft a piece, it vanishes from your quest recipe list, so you can only make one suit per week. The quest completes upon making the last piece, granting you the experience reward.
