Purple Plague effect (purple leftmost icon)
1. To begin this quest you must first have caught the Purple Plague effect from another player. This can happen when a player who already has it emits a sneeze, which will occur every 30 minutes. It is not clear how the plague originates but is perhaps caught from being inside the Grievver Colony at 42.3S, 33.1E.
2. Once you have received the plague, you will see a Purple Plague icon in the top-left corner underneath your vital statistics. This effect lasts for 10 hours and allows you to do the quest while temporarily reducing your maximum vigor until cured.
3. You must then travel to Morningthaw Magnan at 42.3S, 33.2E to begin the quest.
4. Hand her 6 Grievver Maws one at a time (she will not accept a stack of 6) to receive 3 Purple Plague Cures and complete the quest. These trophies can be found on the corpses of Grievver in the Knorr Ramparts and Knorr Desolation regions.
Note 1: Completing the quest does not remove the Purple Plague effect - this only occurs upon using a cure. You may avoid using the cure in order to pass the plague onto others who may then do the quest. The effect will simply wear off after its timer elapses.
Note 2: This quest can be done in conjunction with Grievver Folly, which takes place in the nearby Grievver Colony, and Destroy the Toxic Grievvers, which may be done in the nearby Grievver Colony or the surrounding outside area.
