The Lugian Juggernaut is one of the six main tank classes. Since the Juggernaut is a Lugian, it is a direct-conflict, melee-oriented avatar with high hit points and enough endurance to take a beating. The textbook definition sums the character up rather well - the Juggernaut is an overwhelming advancing force that crushes everything in its path. On Dereth, the juggernaut holds the defensive side of the Lugian melee spectrum.
Juggernauts are melee characters that have comparable defense while keeping good damage. Their strength lies mostly in their ability to deal %health damage to high health monsters. Their shield bonus on their blade staff and high health make them good for solo play and able to live through misplace aggro. While you might have bouts where your extra damage just doesn't proc, don't give up! A juggernaut is an excellent addition to any group.
SOLO PLAY: With their high health, shield bonus, damage reducing abilities and high damage output, juggernauts make for comparable soloists. Use your AOE skills to reduce enemy damage for maximum survivability.
GROUP PLAY: Juggernauts are excellent additions to group with their over the top damage on high health monsters and their ability to reduce the damage of enemies, assisting tanks. Their high health and shield bonus are great assets when a fight goes awry, allowing them to save the group by grabbing aggro in a pinch. They are best when played as Damage Dealers.

Melee
These are the skills from Melee tree that most Juggernauts take. Others are also possible but we are only going to list the mandatory ones:
- - Melee Mastery, Melee Grandmaster and Melee Paragon - Chance to Hit with Melee Skills and Avoid Melee Damage
- - Smite - Vulnerability attack for high damage.
- - Life Unbound - Max Health Fellow Buff.
- - Wellspring - Targeted Vigor Heal, small size and normal CD.
- - Burgeoning Will - Max Vigor Fellow Buff.
Juggernaut
- - Tremor - A 5m area of effect melee attack that lowers enemy damage output.
- - Juggernaut Adept - Chance to hit and avoid with Juggernaut attacks.
- - Maim - Melee attack the lowers all of the target's attack skills (melee, missile, magic).
- - Galvanize - Grants the arc blade shield bonus, reducing damage from frontal attacks.
- - Challenge - A ranged taunt that increases aggro towards to juggernaut on the target.
- - Dismember - Melee attack with a small chance to do additional % health damage.
- - Brimming Heart - Self only Health Buff.
- - Shatter - Melee attack that lowers armor and deals additional damage if used after maim.
- - Tectonic Shift - An 8m area of effect melee attack that lowers enemy damage output. Only usable after Tremor.
- - Power Surge - Self only damage buff.
- - Blinding Serum - Poison attack which reduces attack speed. Better if used after Maim.
- - Disembowel - Melee attack with a small chance to do additional % health damage. Only usable after Dismember.
- - Cataclysm - A 12m area of effect melee attack that lowers enemy damage output. Only usable after Tectonic Shift.
- - Cripple - A slowing attack that also dispels run speed buffs. More effective if used after successful blinding serum.
- - Decapitate - Melee attack with a chance to do additional % health damage. Only usable after Disembowel.
Magic
- - Pain Touch - Close range Magic attack. Bonus damage if vulnerable. Required for other spells.
- - Comfort - A targeted low Heal.
- - Give Life - A targeted medium Heal that takes some health from caster as fuel.
- - Earth Skin - A self only armor Buff.
