This quest begins automatically when you loot and use a Decaying Mound Portal Gem from a Jangled Shock Reaper on Arramora, and then enter the summoned portal. The portal will take you into the Decaying Mound, a small dungeon full of low 50's solo Reapers and Crones. The quest is soloable if you can comfortably kill 2-3 of these at a time. The portal is recallable.
The map below shows the Decaying Mound dungeon. You will need to enter the tunnels and come out on the upper ledge, working your way around to the boss at the end, Ivorin Splinterlegs. Getting to him is the only tough part, since he's no tougher than the other Reapers here. Kill him to complete the quest and earn your reward.
