Walkthrough

• Talk to Ariatah to begin the quest. You must have first completed Ancient Amulet and Burun Orders, or he will not give you the quest.
• Hand the Shiny Temple Amulet from the Ancient Amulet quest to Ariatah. This is a soloable quest which just requires lots of travel, so a mount is recommended.
• Talk to Ariatah several times to hear his story. Eventually, he'll tell you to travel to the 11 Animae shrines throughout Omishan. Their locations are:

• You probably don't have to visit all 11 shrines. At each one, hand your Shiny Temple Amulet to the shrine. Most of the time, you'll get your amulet back with no effect. However, one of the shrines will give you a longer message and say that you have an urge to touch it again. Do so, and you will be portalled away.
• The shrine will portal you to the Carved Menhir at 8.1N 77.4E. This is actually the entrance to the Temple of Roots, but you can't use it quite yet.
• Return to Ariatah in Hakata to complete the quest, earn your reward, and begin the next quest in the series, Temple Exploration.
