Walkthrough
To begin this quest you must have a proficiency in a certain crafting skill, be it a weapons craft, armor, spellbinding or toolmaking. It is possible to receive the quest with a skill below 100, however the recipes will have a poor chance of success at such a skill level.
There are four versions of the quest, depending on what your proficiency lies in.
To begin, travel to the South Gevoth Outpost, via Gurokora or Palisade and speak with Ludward at 22.8S, 54.2W. You will now find a new craft section, titled Ludward's Obsession, under the craft tab of one of your proficient crafts. This is the first recipe you must complete.
Each recipe requires a number of ordinary crafting materials as well as an unknown element which corresponds to a trophy or quest item in the game.
